Zee5 acquires OTT rights of Kavin–Andrea Jeremiah starrer ‘Mask’, all set for year end release
The Show Must Go On production company in association with Black Madras Films is producing the upcoming dark comedy thriller ‘Mask’, directed by debutant Vikarnan Ashok. The film, featuring Kavin and Andrea Jeremiah in the lead roles, is gearing up for its grand release this year end.
On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the makers unveiled a special festive poster wishing everyone a happy Diwali and officially announced that Zee5 has acquired the OTT streaming rights and T Series has acquired the audio rights of the film.
Following the success of his previous outing Kiss, actor Kavin is set to enthrall audiences once again with his versatile performance, alongside the talented Andrea Jeremiah. Ruhani Sharma will be pairing up with Kavin for the first time. The film also stars Charle, Ramesh Thilak, Kalloori Vinoth, and Archana Chandhoke in pivotal roles.
National Award-winning composer G.V. Prakash Kumar has scored the music for the film. The recently released first single, Kannumuzhi, has already struck a chord with fans and music lovers for its energetic folk beats and catchy tune.
Debut director Vikarnan Ashok has helmed the project under the mentorship of Tamil Cinema's critically acclaimed Director Vetri Maaran, bringing a fresh vision to Tamil cinema. The film’s technical crew includes RD Rajasekhar handling cinematography, R. Ramar taking charge of editing, Jacki and M Vijay Iyyappan as the production designer, and Poorthi and Vipin designing the costumes.
Touted to be a dark comedy thriller set against the backdrop of Chennai, Mask promises to be an engaging entertainer made on a grand scale.
