Bommai Nayagi revolves around the story of a father and daughter. It's about how society, and politics affect their livelihood. The music of the film is composed by KS Sundaramoorthy and major portions of the film will be shot in and around Cuddalore.
Yogi Babu is also a part of Dhanush's upcoming film, Karnan, directed by Mari Selvaraj. He has already shot for his portions and his role will be a crucial one. The actor has more than five films in his kitty and waiting to complete them soon.
Last year, Yogi Babu tied the knot with Manju Bhargavi at his ancestral temple in Tiruttani, Tamil Nadu. He announced that he will be hosting a grand reception in Chennai for his friends in the industry. However, he cancelled it due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, Ranjith has completed the shoot of his upcoming film, Sarpatta Parambarai, featuring with Arya in the lead role. The film was supposed to release in summer last year. However, the outbreak of the novel coronavirus caused delay in production.
