WORLD EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

IQAC, Eco Club & NSS of Sri Kanyaka Parameswari Arts and Science College for Women Celebrated World Earth Day by initiates Vasudhaika Kutumbam Project “Breathe n Green” in the college campus. Sri. C. LAWRENCE, M.E., M.B.A., EXECUTIVE ENGINEER, ZONE V, GREATER CHENNAI CHENNAI was the Chief Guest of the day.
Sri Guggilam Ramesh (Hony Correspondent), Dr. T. Mohanashree (Principal), Dr. P. B. Vaneetha (Vice Principal), Dr. K. Nappinai (Academic Vice Principal), Mrs. A. Durga Devi (Eco Club Secretary), Mrs. V. Bhanu (NSS Secretary) were the dignitaries present on the occasion.
We planted samplings in the college campus and also campus nearby area in the objectives to bring back life, restore the local ecology by nurturing the native species, spread awareness about global warming and environmental protection particularly among the student community.
