SRF Foundation in collaboration with Capgemini!
Kalpakkam:
Today as a part of Atal Innovation Mission Program, SRF Foundation in collaboration with Capgemini and NITI Aayog organised a Cluster Level Competition for the 20 adopted schools of Tamil Nadu at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu.
There was a total of 27 project ideas which were presented by the students during the competition. The topics for these project ideas were: Environmental Science, Food science, Life science, Energy resources and conservation, Health, Mathematics and everyday life, Disaster management etc.
Out of these, the top 3 project ideas were selected and the winners of the competition were rewarded. The projects that secured the top 3 positions were: 1. Alerting system for drivers, 2. Smoke Detector, 3. Waste segregator.
The chief guests for the competition were Mr. Harjindar Bhatia - Principal, KV No.1, Kalpakkam, Mr. Anies - Senior Manager, Capgemini and Ms. Niketha – Capgemini.
This competition helped the students develop their professional and personal skills. The program helped create a platform for cross learning for all the teachers and the students who visited and participated. It gave the students an opportunity to showcase their learning in the form of projects and prototypes. From SRF foundation, Ms. Manisha, Ms. Abisha and Ms. Sankida conducted the Cluster level competition
