Decathlon opens one of its large-format stores at Pondy Bazaar, T. Nagar, Chennai

French sporting goods brand Decathlon has launched a new, expansive four-floor facility in Pond Bazaar, T. Nagar, Chennai spanning around 28632 sq ft. This new location is set to become the sporting goods retailer's flagship store in Tamil Nadu. Dr.C. Sylendra Babu, IPS (Retd), Former DGP/ Head of Police Force, Tamil Nadu inaugurated the store today.
The Pondy Bazaar store boasts the highest range and variety of sporting goods and equipment available in Tamil Nadu, offering a comprehensive selection for various sports and activities. The four floors of the store have been dedicated to the different sporting goods, Ground floor for cycling and allied goods, first Floor for fitness and running, second floor for football, basketball, badminton and table tennis and third floor dedicated for trekking, hiking and camping materials.
Beyond its extensive product offerings, the new Decathlon Pond Bazaar store is a full-service hub. It provides various specialized services, including Racket stringing: Catering to tennis, badminton, and squash enthusiasts; 1-hour delivery: For quick access to essential sporting items and T-shirt printing: Allowing customers to customize their athletic wear. Decathlon has officially relocated its Ramee Mall store to a new, expansive four-floor facility in Pond Bazaar, Chennai.
