Speech by Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, Minister for IT & Digital Services, Govt of Tamilnadu:

"In the history of Tamil Nadu, the Rajasthani community has played a pivotal role in creating business and industry to thrive. They are mainly active in the ease-of-financing industry and in business. This massive conclave – “BIZFEST Conclave 2025” is the first of its kind and was put together by three associations: the Rajasthani Association Tamilnadu, Shree Maheshwari Sabha, and Agratrade. These three organizations deserve my appreciation. The value-system created by the late C.N. Annadurai, the founder of my party, is standing tall as a pillar for all businesses to thrive in the state. Tamil Nadu is growing at 11.19% real GDP, ahead of many other states. It is possible that over the last two years, Gujarat has seen a faster growth, similar to the same percentage or more, due to initiatives such as GIFT City and other investments there. However, the overall growth in Tamil Nadu - specifically in the Information Technology, Automotive, and Manufacturing industries - is increasing annually. My family is vegetarian and is similar to the Jain community; we believed in the same Jainism once and have lived in Tamil Nadu for generations. There is so much in common and a great connection between the Rajasthani and Tamil communities, who share, thrive in business together, and live in harmony. This makes Tamil Nadu a state for all people to come and invest in, as it upholds the rule of law, equality, and compassion for all people. I want to emphasis the training of next generation entrepreneurs, creating trained pool of youth entering into business. Now that, we have AI changing so many technological advancements, we need to educate our youth to learn to adapt to the changes and to create one of the finest pools of entrepreneurs and workforce too for the future. I sincerely thank Minister Gautam Kumar Dak, Cooperative & Civil Aviation, Govt of Rajasthan, for sharing the stage with me."

Harjeet Khanduja, Senior Vice President of HR at Jio, shared this insight in his speech:

"By 2030, 60% of India's workforce will be Gen Z. This generation's expectations are rapidly changing; they seek multiple choices from us. They are fast-paced—for instance, they have grown accustomed to quick commerce services like Zepto and Swiggy for groceries and food deliveries. This modern workforce looks for flexibility in their work choices: working from home, hybrid models, and more. We need to customize flexibility when managing the workforce of the future, much like choosing toppings on a pizza; we must adapt to offering them choices."

Amitabh Kant – Ex-G20 Sherpa, Govt. of India asserted in his speech:

"Today, MSMEs need support in areas like financial flow and technology adoption, as they are the major job creators in the country. He noted that countries which grew faster supported free enterprise, emphasizing that it is the private players who create wealth and drive national growth. The government's role, he stated, is to create policies, decentralize them to the states, and further push states to liberalize more. He outlined the government's vision for the next decade: to see and sustain a minimum growth of 8 to 9 percent to achieve the 'Vikasit Bharat' vision by 2047. Kant urged entrepreneurs to maintain a personal vision, set a target to achieve annual growth, as only then will they contribute fully to the country's growth story. Addressing the question of why the rupee is losing value against the dollar, he suggested that the rupee should be allowed to find its own level, citing the success of Japan, China, and Korea, which allowed the devaluation of their currencies to gain better leverage from exports. He concluded on an optimistic note, highlighting that today, multinational corporations like Google and Microsoft are setting up large business units in India, investing billions of dollars.

Jonty Rhodes, Co-founder of Life by Jonty and former International Cricket High-performance Coach, stated:

My career was notably shaped by two individuals: a cameraman and Inzamam-ul-Haq. Emphasizing a focus on mindset over outcome, Rhodes advised that one should be focused on the process and not on the result, and that to achieve success in any sport or business, one must be fearless and willing to change the process with a newer approach and a newer mindset. While he jokingly mentioned his favorite hobby is sleeping, and that he would have become a teacher if he hadn't been a cricketer, his favorite hero from another sport is the footballer Pelé from Brazil. Rhodes spoke positively about Indian cricket, calling the IPL a very good platform for emerging cricketers to showcase their talent and a great platform to get selected for the national Indian cricket team. He further appreciated that many cricket clubs and leagues, such as the TNPL and KPL, have emerged from this country, which is very promising to see, as it shows how cricketers are being shaped in each state.

Bizfest Conclave 2025 witness sessions by Sarathak Ahuja, CA & Fintech influencer; Sanjay Kathuriya, Wealth strategist; Dr.Tatwamasi Dixit of FABRIC, among others.

Narendra Srisrimal, President of the Rajasthani Association Tamil Nadu, thanked all sponsors and dignitaries who made this maiden effort—the Bizfest Conclave 2025—possible. He also thanked the participants for actively listening to all speakers, asking questions, and making the day very productive.
