அடிமைப்பட்ட ஒரு சமூகத்தில் இருந்து, குழந்தை ஒன்று ஆற்றோடு அடித்துச் செல்ல அதைக் காப்பாற்றுகிறார் சத்யராஜ். இந்து மதத்தின் பெருமையையும் வரலாறையும் போதித்தருளும் குருகுலத்தை நடத்தி வருபவர் தான் சத்யராஜ். குழந்தையை தனது மகன் போல் பாவித்து அவரை வளர்க்கிறார். வருடங்கள் உருண்டோட, குழந்தை வளர்ந்து பவன் கல்யாணாக வருகிறார்.

VIPOS 2025: Shaping the Future of Precision Oncology from Chennai

The VS International Precision Oncology Summit (VIPOS 2025), under the aegis of VS Medical Trust, held from July 18 to 20, 2025 at Hotel Green Park, Chennai, brought together over 500 delegates from across India, including medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists, physicians, pathologists, geneticists, researchers, and postgraduate students, for a powerful and collaborative exchange on the evolving landscape of cancer care.

The summit focused on the growing role of precision oncology, from advanced diagnostics and targeted therapies to patient-specific treatment strategies. Over the three days, participants engaged in insightful sessions, case discussions, panel talks, and research presentations that highlighted real-world challenges, innovations, and solutions.

நடிகர்கள் உதயா - அஜ்மல் - யோகி பாபு முதன்மையான வேடங்களில் நடித்திருக்கும் 'அக்யூஸ்ட்' திரைப்படத்தின் பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்பு சென்னையில் நடைபெற்றது.

தயாரிப்பாளர் பன்னீர்செல்வம் பேசுகையில், ''இப்படத்தின் பணிகளை இந்த ஆண்டு ஜனவரி மாதம் இரண்டாம் தேதியன்று தொடங்கி, ஆகஸ்ட் ஒன்றாம் தேதியன்று  உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியிடுகிறோம்.  ஒரு படத்தை இவ்வளவு விரைவாக நிறைவு செய்து திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியிடுவதற்காக முழு ஒத்துழைப்பினை வழங்கிய நடிகர் உதயாவிற்கு என் முதல் நன்றியை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். 

இப்படத்தின் கதையை இயக்குநர் பிரபு ஸ்ரீநிவாஸ், உதயா மூலமாக எங்களை சந்தித்து சொன்னார். அவர் சொன்ன கதை பிடித்துப் போனதால், அடுத்த நாளே படத்தின் பணிகளை பூஜையுடன் தொடங்கினோம். உதயாவை தொடர்ந்து கதையில் முக்கியமான வேடத்தில் நடிக்க நடிகர் அஜ்மல் மற்றும் யோகி பாபு ஒப்பந்தமானார்கள். இவர்களைத் தொடர்ந்து நாயகி ஜான்விகா, பவன், பிரபாகர், பெங்களூரூ டானி, சுபத்ரா என அந்தந்த கதாபாத்திரத்திற்கு பொருத்தமானவர்களை இயக்குநரும் உதயாவும் தேர்வு  செய்தனர். 

குறிப்பாக யோகி பாபு தலைவர் ரஜினி படத்தில் நடித்துக்கொண்டிருந்த போது உதயாவிற்காக பதினான்கு நாட்களை ஒதுக்கி முழு ஒத்துழைப்பை வழங்கினார். 

ஒளிப்பதிவாளர் மருதநாயகம், இசையமைப்பாளர் நரேன் பாலகுமார்,  ஸ்டண்ட் மாஸ்டர் சில்வா, எடிட்டர் ஷ்யாம் என திறமையான தொழில்நுட்பக் கலைஞர்களும் தங்களின் முழு ஒத்துழைப்பை வழங்கினார்கள். இவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் என் மனமார்ந்த நன்றியை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். 

நடிகர் உதயாவின் கடும் உழைப்பை இந்த படத்தில் நாங்கள் நேரில் பார்த்திருக்கிறோம். அவருடைய கடும் உழைப்பிற்கு உரிய அங்கீகாரம் கிடைக்க வேண்டும் என ரசிகர்களிடமும், ஊடகங்களிடமும் பணிவன்புடன் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன். இந்தப் படத்தை வெற்றி பெற செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று அனைவரையும் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்,'' என்றார்.

படத்தொகுப்பாளர் ஷ்யாம் பேசுகையில், ''எடிட்டர் போன்ற தொழில்நுட்ப கலைஞர்களுக்கு திரில்லர் ஜானர் ஆக்ஷன் ஜானர் படங்களுக்கு படத்தொகுப்பு செய்ய வேண்டும் என்பது கூடுதல் உற்சாகத்தை அளிக்க கூடியது. அந்த வகையில் அக்யூஸ்ட் திரைப்படத்தின் திரைக்கதை படத்தொகுப்பின் போது உற்சாகத்தை அளித்தது. இந்த திரைப்படம் சீட் எட்ஜ் திரில்லராக உருவாகி இருக்கிறது. இந்தப் படத்தில் உதயாவும், இயக்குநர் பிரபு ஸ்ரீநிவாஸும் ஒன்றிணைந்து பணியற்றிருக்கிறார்கள். நாங்கள் இந்தப் படத்தின் திரைக்கதையின் வேகத்தை குறைப்பதற்காக சில உத்திகளை கையாண்டிருக்கிறோம். ஏனெனில் இந்தப் படத்தின் திரைக்கதை மிக வேகமாக இருக்கும். இது போன்றதொரு படத்திற்கு படத்தொகுப்பு பணிகளை செய்வதற்கு வாய்ப்பளித்த எடிட்டர் பிரவீண் சாருக்கும், உதயா சாருக்கும், இயக்குநர் பிரபு ஸ்ரீநிவாஸ் சாருக்கும் நன்றி. இப்படத்தின் இசையும் மிகப் பிரமாதமாக இருக்கிறது.  இந்தப் படம் உங்கள் அனைவரையும் கவரும் வகையிலான டீசன்டான சீட் எட்ஜ் திரில்லர் படம்.  அனைவரும் ஆதரவு தர வேண்டும் என கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்,'' என்றார்.

நடிகர் டானி பேசுகையில், ''ஓ மரியா பாடலில் நடிகை ரம்பாவுடன் நடனமாடிய பாடல் 1999ம் ஆண்டில் வெளியானது. அதன் பிறகு மீண்டும் இந்த படத்தில் நடிக்கிறேன். இயக்குநர் பிரபு ஸ்ரீநிவாஸ் சினிமா வேண்டாம் என்று அமெரிக்காவிற்கு சென்றார். அவரிடம் கேட்டபோது சின்ன பிரேக் எடுத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன் என்றார். ஆனால் நான் அவருக்காக பிரார்த்தனை செய்து கொண்டேன். அதன் பிறகு அவர் எனக்கு போன் செய்து உதயா நடிக்கும் படத்தை இயக்க வாய்ப்பு வந்துள்ளது என மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் தெரிவித்தார். 

இந்தத் தருணத்தில் விஜய் டிவியில் 'ஓ மரியா..' பாடலை ரீ கிரியேட் செய்தனர். அதற்காக பெங்களூரில் இருந்து சென்னை வந்து நடனம் ஆடினேன். அந்தத் தருணத்தில் இயக்குநர் பிரபு ஸ்ரீநிவாஸிடமிருந்து அழைப்பு வந்தது. நான் நேராக இப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு தளத்திற்கு சென்றேன். அங்கு எனக்கு உதவி காவல் ஆய்வாளர் வேடத்தில் நடிக்க வேண்டும் என சொன்னார். 

ஒவ்வொரு கலைஞனுக்கும் விமான நிலையத்தில், பொதுவெளியில், வணிக வளாகத்தில் ரசிகர்கள் சந்தித்து,  'உங்கள் படத்தை நான் பார்த்திருக்கிறேன்' என்று ஒரு வார்த்தை சொன்னால் போதும், அது அந்த கலைஞனுக்கு மிகப்பெரிய போதையை தரும். ஆனால் என்னை யாரும் அங்கீகரிக்கவில்லை, அடையாளப்படுத்தவில்லை. அதற்காக ஏங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தேன். இந்த தருணத்தில் உதவி காவல் ஆய்வாளர் வேடத்தில் நடிக்க வேண்டும் என்றால் தலை முடியை கட் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று சொன்னார். நான் யோசித்தேன். 

'மின்னலே' படத்தில் நாகேஷ் உடன் நடித்தேன். 'காதலர் தினம்' படத்தில் கவுண்டமணியுடன் நடித்திருக்கிறேன்.  'கவிதை' படத்தில் வடிவேலுவுடன் நடித்தேன். பல காமெடி நடிகர்களுடன் நடித்திருக்கிறேன். அந்த வகையில் யோகி பாபு உடன் நடிக்க வேண்டும் என்று விரும்பினேன். அதற்காகவும் இந்த படத்தில் நடிக்க ஒப்புக் கொண்டேன். யோகி பாபு உடன் மட்டுமல்லாமல் அஜ்மல் - உதயா என அனைவரிடமும் இணைந்து நடிக்க வேண்டும் என்பதால் இந்தப் படத்தில் நடித்தால் மீண்டும் பெரிய அங்கீகாரம் கிடைக்கும் என்ற நம்பிக்கையில் நடிக்க ஒப்புக்கொண்டேன். தலைமுடியை கட் செய்யவும் சம்மதித்தேன். இந்தப் படத்தில் என்கவுண்டர் ஸ்பெஷலிஸ்ட்டாக நடித்திருக்கிறேன். இந்த வாய்ப்பை வழங்கிய இயக்குநர் பிரபு ஸ்ரீநிவாசிற்கு நன்றி தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். 

ஆகஸ்ட் முதல் தேதியன்று இப்படம் வெளியாகிறது. இது எங்களுக்கு முக்கியமான நாள். படத்தை வெற்றி பெறச் செய்யுங்கள். நன்றி,'' என்றார்.

தயாரிப்பாளர் சேது பேசுகையில், ''நாங்கள் பெரிதாக எதிர்பார்த்து முதல் முதலாக தயாரிப்பில் ஈடுபட்டிருக்கும் படம் இது. இதற்கு உதயா தான் காரணம்.‌ அவருடன் நடைபெற்ற ஒரு சாதாரண சந்திப்பு தான் இப்படத்தில் எங்களை இணைய வைத்தது. இயக்குநர் பிரபு ஸ்ரீனிவாஸ் எங்களிடம் என்ன கதையை சொன்னாரோ, அதை அப்படியே எடுத்திருக்கிறார். இந்தப் படத்திற்கு எல்லாம் பாசிட்டிவ் ஆகவே அமைந்தது. இந்தப் படத்தின் கதை தனக்கு என்ன தேவையோ,பாஅதை அதுவே இழுத்துக் கொண்டது . நாங்கள் எதையும் செய்யவில்லை. அதை என்ன கேட்டதோ அதை நாங்கள் செய்து கொடுத்தோம். படம் சிறப்பாக வந்திருக்கிறது. படத்தில் பணியாற்றிய நடிகர்களுக்கும் , நடிகைகளுக்கும், தொழில்நுட்பக் கலைஞர்களுக்கும் இந்த தருணத்தில் நன்றியை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்,'' என்றார். 

இசையமைப்பாளர் நரேன் பாலகுமார் பேசுகையில், ''அக்யூஸ்ட் படத்தில் பணியாற்றியது எனக்கு நல்லதொரு அனுபவம். ஜனவரியில் தான் இப்படத்திற்கான பாடல்களை உருவாக்கினோம். ஆறு மாதத்திற்குள் ஃபர்ஸ்ட் காப்பி ரெடி ஆகிவிட்டது. நான் இந்த குழுவில் இணைந்ததற்கு முக்கியமான காரணம் உதயா தான். அவருக்கு என்னுடைய முதல் நன்றி. 

இந்தப் படத்தில் மூன்று பாடல்கள் இடம்பெற்று இருக்கின்றன. இந்தப் படத்தின் திரைக்கதையை மேம்படுத்தும் வகையில் பின்னணி இசை அமைத்திருக்கிறேன் என நம்புகிறேன். நீங்கள் அனைவரும் ஆகஸ்ட் முதல் தேதியன்று இப்படத்தை திரையரங்குகளில் பார்த்து உங்களது விமர்சனத்தை முன்வைக்க வேண்டும் என கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்,'' என்றார். 

நடிகர் பிரபாகர் பேசுகையில், ''கன்னடத்தில் சில படங்களில் நடித்திருந்தாலும் தமிழில் நான் நடித்திருக்கும் முதல் படம் இது. இயக்குநர் பிரபு ஸ்ரீநிவாஸ் இயக்கத்தில் வெளியான கன்னட திரைப்படங்களில் நான் நடித்திருக்கிறேன். அவர்தான் இந்த படத்தில் வில்லனாக நடிப்பதற்கான வாய்ப்பை வழங்கினார். அவர் உன் திறமையை வாய்ப்பு கிடைக்கும் போது பயன்படுத்திக்கொள்கிறேன் என்று அடிக்கடி சொல்லிக் கொண்டே இருப்பார். இப்படத்தின் கதையை அவர் சொன்னதும் சந்தோஷமாக நடிக்க ஒப்புக்கொண்டேன். எனக்கு தமிழ் தெரியாது. ஆனால் இங்கு வந்த பிறகு தமிழைக் கற்றுக் கொண்டேன். அத்துடன் இப்படத்தில் தமிழக-கர்நாடக எல்லையோரத்தில் உள்ள கதாபாத்திரம் என்பதால் படத்திலும் நான் நடித்த காட்சிகளுக்கு சொந்தக் குரலில் பின்னணி பேசவும் வாய்ப்பளித்தனர். இதற்காக நடிகர் உதயாவிற்கும் நன்றி தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்.  

இந்தப் படத்தில் என்னுடைய கதாபாத்திரம் பஸ், கார், ஓட்டம் என சேசிங்கிலேயே இருக்கும்.  இதனால் நான் மிகவும் விரும்பி நடித்தேன். 

படப்பிடிப்பு தளத்தில் அனைவரும் ஒரே குடும்பமாக இணைந்து மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் பணியாற்றினோம். இந்த அனுபவம் மறக்க இயலாது,'' என்றார். 

இயக்குநர் பிரபு ஸ்ரீநிவாஸ் பேசுகையில், ''கன்னடத்தில் திரைப்படங்களை இயக்கியிருந்தாலும் என்னுடைய திரையுலக வாழ்க்கை தமிழில் தான் தொடங்கியது. சுந்தர் சி - தனுஷ் - அர்ஜுன் - ஆகியோர் நடித்த படங்களுக்கு நடன இயக்குநராக பணியாற்றி இருக்கிறேன். கிட்டத்தட்ட 400 பாடல்களுக்கு மேல் நடன இயக்குநராக பணியாற்றிவிட்டு,  கன்னடத்தில் திரைப்படத்தை இயக்குவதற்கான வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்தவுடன் அங்கு சென்று படத்தை இயக்கினேன். ஒரே தயாரிப்பாளருடன் தொடர்ந்து ஐந்து திரைப்படங்களை இயக்கினேன். அதன் பிறகு சொந்தமாக ஒரு படத்தை தயாரித்து இயக்கினேன். இது என்னுடைய இயக்கத்தில் வெளியாகும் ஏழாவது படம். ஆனால் தமிழில் முதல் படம்.

கன்னடத்தில் ஆக்ஷன் ஃபிலிம் டைரக்டர் என்ற பெயரை சம்பாதித்து இருக்கிறேன். தமிழில் அறிமுகமாகும் போது மிக பிரம்மாண்டமான படத்தை இயக்க வேண்டும் என்று தான் எண்ணியிருந்தேன். இதற்காக லாரன்ஸ், விஷால் போன்ற சில ஹீரோக்களை சந்தித்து பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்தி இருக்கிறேன். ஆனால் எதுவும் சாத்தியமாகவில்லை. இந்தத் தருணத்தில் என் குடும்ப உறுப்பினர்கள் 'நீங்கள் அப்படி நினைக்க கூடாது. நீங்கள் கன்னடத்தில் படத்தை இயக்கும் போது சின்ன படமாகத் தான் இருந்தது. ஆனால் அந்த படம் வெளியாகி மிகப்பெரிய வெற்றியை பெற்றது. அதனால் நீங்கள் இயக்கும் படம் மிகப் பெரிய அளவில் வெற்றி பெற வேண்டும் என நினைத்து உருவாக்குங்கள்' என ஆலோசனை சொன்னார்கள். அதன் பிறகு ஆறு மாதம் அமெரிக்காவிற்கு சென்று விட்டேன். 

அதன் பிறகு பிஆர்ஓ நிகில் முருகன் தான் இந்த அக்யூஸ்ட் படத்திற்கு பிள்ளையார் சுழி போட்டார். அவர்தான் உதயா கதை கேட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார். அவரை சந்தித்து கதையை சொல்லுங்கள் என்றார். அதன் பிறகு அவரை சந்தித்து கதையைச் சொன்னேன். கதையை முழுவதுமாக கேட்டுவிட்டு, கதை நன்றாக இருக்கிறது. குறிப்பாக என்னுடைய கேரக்டர் நன்றாக இருக்கிறது. நாளை தயாரிப்பாளரை சந்திக்கிறோம் என்றார். அடுத்த நாள் தயாரிப்பாளர்கள் பன்னீர்செல்வம் - தங்கவேல்- உதயா - ஆகியோர் இருந்தனர். தயாரிப்பாளர்களுக்கும் கதை பிடித்திருந்தது. ஆனால் அனைவரும் பட்ஜெட் அதிகம் என சொன்னார்கள். ஆனால் படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெற்ற 60 நாட்களிலும் எந்த குழப்பமும் இல்லாமல் நான் கேட்ட அனைத்து வசதிகளையும் செய்து கொடுத்து படப்பிடிப்பை நிறைவு செய்தனர். எனக்கு கிடைத்த தொழில்நுட்ப கலைஞர்களும் திறமையானவர்கள். அதனால் படத்தை உருவாக்குவதற்கு எனக்கு முழு சுதந்திரம் இருந்தது. ஒன்றரை கோடி ரூபாய்க்கு பஸ் ஒன்றை விலைக்கு வாங்கி, அதனை படப்பிடிப்புக்கு பயன்படுத்திய பின் ஸ்கிராப்பிற்கு அனுப்பினோம். இதற்கும் உதயா தான் முழு காரணம். 

இந்தக் கதையில் நாயகனுக்கு இணையான கதாபாத்திரத்தில் அஜ்மல் நடித்தார். அவருக்கு கதை சொன்ன தருணத்திலிருந்து தற்போது வரை முழு ஒத்துழைப்பு வழங்கி வருகிறார். 

கதையில் இடம்பெறும் மற்றொரு கதாபாத்திரத்திற்கு யோகி பாபு விடம் பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்தினோம் கதையைக் கேட்ட அவர் நடிக்க ஒப்புக்கொண்டதுடன் நாங்கள் கேட்டுக் கொண்டதற்கு இணங்க தொடர்ந்து 14 நாட்கள் கால்ஷீட் கொடுத்து ஒத்துழைப்பு அளித்தார். 

இந்தப் படத்திற்கு நரேன் பாலகுமார் இசையமைத்திருக்கிறார். என்னுடைய உறவினர் இசையமைப்பாளராக இருந்தாலும் இந்தப் படத்திற்கு புது இசையமைப்பாளர் வேண்டும் என விரும்பினேன் இதற்காக உதயா அவருடைய 'உத்தரவு மகாராஜா' படத்திற்கு இசையமைத்த நரேன் பாலகுமாரை அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார். அவரது பாடலைக் கேட்டவுடன் பிடித்து விட்டது. இந்தப் படத்தில் அவரின் இசையில் உருவான பாடல்கள் எனக்கும் பிடித்தது. என் மகன்களுக்கும் பிடித்தது. ஒரு பாடலை சிறிய வயதில் இருக்கும் பிள்ளைகள் பாடினால் அந்தப் பாட்டு ஹிட் ஆகும். பாடல்களைப் போல் பின்னணி இசையிலும் நரேன் மெஸ்மரைஸ் செய்திருக்கிறார். இந்தப் படத்தைப் பற்றி நான் எதையும் மிகையாக சொல்லவில்லை, நீங்கள் படம் பார்த்தால் புரியும். 

இந்தப் படம் அனைவரையும் மெஸ்மரைஸ் செய்யும். இந்த படத்தைப் பற்றிய ஏதேனும் எதிர்பார்ப்பு இருந்தால் அதைவிட அதிகமாகவே இருக்கும்.  திரைக்கதையில் யாரும் யூகிக்காத திருப்பங்கள் இருக்கும். படம் தொடக்கம் முதல் இறுதி வரை கண் இமைக்காமல் பார்க்கும் படி இருக்கும்," என்றார். 

நாயகி ஜான்விகா பேசுகையில், ''இது என்னுடைய முதல் தமிழ் திரைப்படம். 'அக்யூஸ்ட்' ஆகஸ்ட் 1ம் தேதி வெளியாகிறது. உங்கள் அனைவரின் ஆதரவும் அன்பும் தேவை. 

இந்த படத்தில் நடிப்பதற்கான வாய்ப்பை அளித்த தயாரிப்பாளருக்கும் , இயக்குநருக்கும், உதயாவிற்கும் நன்றி. 

இந்தப் படத்தில் அழகான காதல் கதை இருக்கிறது. அற்புதமான பாடல்கள் உள்ளன. சில்வா மாஸ்டர் அமைத்த சண்டை காட்சிகளும் உள்ளன. யோகி பாபுவின் காமெடி இருக்கிறது. அத்துடன் இந்தத் திரைப்படம் ஒரு ஃபேமிலி என்டர்டெய்னர். அதனால் அனைவரும் இந்தப் படத்தை திரையரங்கத்திற்கு சென்று பார்த்து ரசித்து ஆதரவு தர வேண்டும் என கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்,'' என்றார். 

நடிகர் அஜ்மல் பேசுகையில், ''ஒருவர் வெற்றி பெற வேண்டும் என்று துணிந்து செயலில் ஈடுபட்டால், அவருக்கு இந்த உலகமே துணை நிற்கும் என்பார்கள். இதற்கு மிகப்பெரிய உதாரணம் உதயா. அவர் இந்த படத்திற்காக எவ்வளவு கடினமாக உழைத்தார் என்பதை படத்தின் பணிகள் தொடங்கிய முதல் நாளிலிருந்து எனக்குத் தெரியும். 

இந்தப் படத்தில் பணியாற்றிய நடிகர்களும் நடிகைகளும் தொழில்நுட்ப கலைஞர்களும் அனைவரும் ஒரே குடும்பமாக இணைந்து பணியாற்றினார்கள். இந்தப் படத்திற்கு கடவுளின் மிகப்பெரிய ஆசீர்வாதம் இருக்கிறது. அந்த ஆசி இன்று வரை தொடர்கிறது. 

இயக்குநர் பிரபு ஸ்ரீநிவாஸ் என் கதாபாத்திரத்தை மட்டுமல்ல மலர் என்ற ஹீரோயின் கதாபாத்திரத்தையும் உதயாவின் கதாபாத்திரத்தையும் நன்றாக செதுக்கியிருந்தார். படத்தில் திறமையான தொழில்நுட்ப கலைஞர்களும் பணியாற்றியிருக்கிறார்கள். 

'அஞ்சாதே' படத்தில் பணியாற்றிய போது எனக்கு ஒரு பாசிட்டிவ் எனர்ஜி கிடைத்தது. 'கோ' படத்தில் பணியாற்றிய போதும் பாசிட்டிவ் எனர்ஜி கிடைத்தது அதேபோன்று பாசிட்டிவ் எனர்ஜி இந்தப் படத்தில் பணியாற்றிய போதும் எனக்கு கிடைத்தது. அதனால் இந்தப் படம் மிகப்பெரிய வெற்றி படமாக அமையும்  என்ற நம்பிக்கை இருக்கிறது. இந்தப் படத்திற்கு ஊடகங்களில் பேராதரவு தேவை. அதை வழங்க வேண்டும் என கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்,'' என்றார். 

நாயகன் உதயா பேசுகையில், ''மூன்றரை வருட இடைவெளிக்குப் பிறகு மீண்டும் அக்யூஸ்ட் '  திரைப்படத்தில் நடித்திருக்கிறேன். 

சினிமாவில் அறிமுகமாகி 25 ஆண்டுகள் ஆகிவிட்டன. இன்று வரை எனக்கு தொடர்ந்து ஆதரவு அளித்து வரும் ஊடகங்களுக்கு என் முதல் நன்றியை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். 

இந்த மேடை எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்த மேடை. நிறைய போராட்டங்களுக்குப் பிறகு சினிமாவை நிறைய நேசித்ததன் காரணமாக இங்கு நின்று கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். கடந்த மூன்று ஆண்டு காலத்தில் மன உளைச்சலுக்கும் ஆளாகி இருக்கிறேன். அதன் பிறகு மீண்டும் வெற்றி பெற வேண்டும் என்ற உத்வேகத்துடன் பயணிக்க தொடங்கிய போது கேட்ட கதை தான் இந்த அக்யூஸ்ட் படத்தின் கதை. 

இன்றைய தமிழ் சினிமாவில் கன்டென்ட் தான் முக்கியம். அதற்காக நல்ல கன்டென்டுக்காக காத்திருந்தேன். நான் இன்று வரை எந்த படமாக இருந்தாலும் தியேட்டருக்கு சென்று பார்த்து ரசிப்பவன். எது ரசிகர்களுக்கு பிடித்திருக்கிறது, பிடிக்கும் என்பதனை உணர்ந்து அதற்கு ஏற்ற வகையில் தான் கதையை கேட்கத் தொடங்கினேன். 

இயக்குநர் பிரபு ஸ்ரீநிவாஸ் முதலில் கன்னடத்தில் வெளியான படம் ஒன்றை தமிழில் ரீமேக் செய்யலாம் என்று சொன்னார். அது டார்க் காமெடி, எனக்கு ஒத்து வராது என்று சொல்லி புதிதாக கன்டென்ட் இருந்தால் அதை சொல்லுங்கள் என்றேன் . அத்துடன் எனக்கான பட்ஜெட் இதுதான் என்றும் சொன்னேன். ஆனால் அவர் சொன்ன அக்யூஸ்ட் கதை பெரிய பட்ஜெட் படம். இதை தயாரிப்பாளரிடம் சொன்னபோது அவர்கள் தான் இதற்கு ஆதரவாக இருந்தார்கள். அதனால் தான் இந்த படம் உருவானது. 

இயக்குநர் பிரபு ஸ்ரீநிவாஸ் கிளாரிட்டியான டைரக்டர். அவருக்கு தமிழ் சினிமாவில் மிகப்பெரும் எதிர்காலம் இருக்கிறது. அத்துடன் பிரபு ஸ்ரீநிவாஸ் தயாரிப்பாளர்களின் இயக்குநராகவும் இருக்கிறார். 

இந்தப் படத்தினை பத்திரிகையாளர்களாகிய நீங்கள் பார்த்து பாராட்டு தெரிவித்து விட்டால், தமிழக மக்கள் ஏற்றுக் கொண்டு வெற்றி பெற செய்து விடுவார்கள்.  

இன்றைய சூழலில் ஒவ்வொரு படத்திற்கும் விமர்சனம் அவசியம் தேவை. சினிமாவிற்கு மூன்று நாட்கள் விமர்சனம் தேவையில்லை என்று சொன்னாலும் கூட சினிமா என்றால் விமர்சனம் வரத்தான் செய்யும். அதனால் ஒவ்வொரு சினிமாவிற்கும் விமர்சனம் அவசியம் தேவை தான். அவை ஆரோக்கியமாக இருந்தால் நன்றாக இருக்கும். சம்பந்தப்பட்ட கலைஞர்கள் தங்களது தவறை திருத்திக் கொள்வதற்கான வாய்ப்பு உருவாகும்.

Super Chennai Goes Live: A Citizen-Driven Digital Movement Putting the City on the Global Map

Chennai has become the first city in India to launch a dedicated, citizen-led website, Super Chennai, a move that marks a major leap in urban storytelling, participatory culture, and city branding.Conceptualised as a movement more than a website, Super Chennai brings together community voices, real-time city updates, and cultural narratives into one unified digital space. The initiative is backed by CREDAI Chennai and has been developed with inputs from technologists, civic thinkers, entrepreneurs, artists, and everyday citizens.

The journey began earlier this year, when the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru MK Stalin unveiled the Super Chennai logo at FAIRPRO 2025. The website launched today is the next step in that vision - a digital-first, participatory space that aims to present Chennai not just as a metro, but as a global, future-ready city.

Speaking at the launch, Mr.Ranjeeth D Rathod, Managing Director of Super Chennai said, “This is not just a website or a tech platform. As part of this event, Super Chennai announced a partnership with Pointcast, a Silicon Valley-based tech company, making Chennai the first city in the world to become Pointcast-enabled. Tamil Nadu to host ASF Asian Surfing Championships 2025

Tamil Nadu is emerging as a rising surfing hub with Mahabalipuram set to host the ASF Asian Surfing Championships 2025 from August 3 to 12, 2025.

This year’s championship will bring together athletes from 20 Asian countries. Competitors will battle it out in Shortboard divisions: Open Men, Open Women, U18 Boys, and U18 Girls. Beyond the medals — Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Copper — surfers will be vying for qualification spots for the 2026 Asian Games.

The Asian Surfing Championships 2025 in Mahabalipuram will see the newly crowned men’s and women’s champions receive direct berths to the SurfCity El Salvador ALAS Global Finals, scheduled for November 17–23, 2025.

“Tamil Nadu continues to lead India’s surfing movement, with 8 out of 12 Indian team athletes coming from the state. This is a testament to the region’s strong grassroots programs and focus on elite athlete development,” a statement said.

Investments in surf schools, training centres, and coastal programs have enabled youth — particularly from fishing and coastal communities — to rise from local competitions to international stages, the statement added.

The championship is supported by the Government of Tamil Nadu, the Department of Youth Welfare & Sports Development, and the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT), who serve as official sponsors.

“Hosting the ASF Asian Surfing Championships 2025 in Tamil Nadu highlights our commitment to nurturing new sports like surfing, creating world-class opportunities for our athletes, and strengthening Tamil Nadu’s position as India’s sports and adventure tourism hub,” Udhayanidhi Stalin, Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and Minister for Youth Welfare & Sports Development, said.
